Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist - Part Time to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm.

Responsibilities include blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, specimen handling, data entry, and providing excellent customer service in a client office setting. Minimum qualifications include a HS diploma and 1+ year phlebotomy experience; certification preferred. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1+ year phlebotomy experience.
• Preferred: 2+ years of outpatient lab phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training required if no experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.
• Enter patient information accurately and promptly in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
