Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
• Preferred: 2+ years of phlebotomy experience in outpatient lab environments.
• Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency may be required in lieu of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as needed.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs and ensure proper documentation.
• Provide superior customer service to patients and staff.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
