Labcorp in Somerset, Kentucky is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves blood collection, processing specimens for testing, and delivering exceptional customer service at client sites.

Responsibilities include data entry, specimen handling, and occasional travel to other sites. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and 1 year of phlebotomy experience, with certification preferred. A PST incentive plan bonus may be available.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training acceptable in lieu of work experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
