Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join a Patient Service Center. You will perform skilled specimen collection, ensure accurate data entry, and deliver exceptional patient service.

The role includes travel to additional sites and opportunities for growth within Labcorp's extensive diagnostics network. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a phlebotomy certification or training; 1 year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or training completed; relevant experience acceptable.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently or with a team; flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary method for all ages.
• Collect specimens for tests and ensure proper labeling and handling.
• Enter patient data accurately and on time; process billing as needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent patient service and travel to other sites when required.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned.
