Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center in Florida. You will perform skilled specimen collections, provide exceptional customer service, and represent the company in a patient-facing role. Growth opportunities exist within the organization.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED, with Phlebotomy certification or training preferred. A variable schedule may include travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Phlebotomy certification or training preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to accurately enter patient information and manage data.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
