Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections and provide exceptional service in a Patient Service Center or Client office. The role involves data entry, specimen handling, and occasional travel to additional sites.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, and flexibility to work Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with every other Saturday morning. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• 3+ months of experience as a phlebotomist or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
