Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a compassionate Phlebotomist to join our patient service centers or client sites. You will perform blood collections, ensure specimen integrity, and deliver excellent customer service to diverse patients and teams.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training; overtime may be needed. Travel to additional sites is required, with a supportive team and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
