The role includes data entry, billing tasks, and maintaining logs, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training or 3+ months of phlebotomy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
