Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Annapolis, MD and surrounding areas. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, with data entry and specimen processing support across sites. Strong customer service and flexibility are essential.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and phlebotomy certification or training; travel to additional sites is expected. A sign-on bonus and a competitive pay range are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
