Job summary

Labcorp in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques, specimen handling, data entry and delivering patient-centered service.

The schedule is Monday to Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with every other Saturday as assigned. Pay ranges from $17.75 to $26.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits for eligible staff. May travel to additional site as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Other Duties as assigned
