Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center team. You will perform skilled blood collections, ensure accurate data entry, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include processing specimens, handling billing when needed, and traveling to other sites as required. AHS-certified phlebotomist or equivalent training is preferred, with high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
