Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join a Patient Service Center in Florida. You will perform blood collections, handle specimen processing, and ensure accurate patient data entry while delivering exceptional service to diverse patients. The role supports a variable schedule with multi-site travel as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification, plus relevant training or experience. Strong communication and reliability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• Ability to pass a standardized color vision test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other Duties as assigned.
