Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. You will perform skilled specimen collections and provide exceptional customer service, representing the company in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood Collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
