Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-centered team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, collect specimens for tests, data-enter patient information accurately, and prepare samples for analysis.

Travel to additional sites may be required; schedule is Monday–Friday 6:30am–3:00pm with rotating Saturdays. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, and at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
