Job summary

Labcorp in a Patient Service Center seeks a Phlebotomist who provides exceptional customer service, performs skilled specimen collections and serves as the face of the company, ensuring accurate patient data and proper handling of samples.

The role offers opportunities for growth, with the schedule from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, plus rotating Saturdays; applicants should have a phlebotomy certification or completed training, or at least three months of phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 3 months experience as a phlebotomist or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other Duties as assigned.
