Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate patient data entry while delivering outstanding customer service.

Your role includes billing duties, specimen handling, and coordination across sites as needed, with a rotating schedule that includes Saturdays. Strong communication and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; phlebotomy certification or training required.
• 3+ months of phlebotomy experience acceptable.
• Able to pass a color blindness test.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
