Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Niles, IL. The role involves collecting blood samples, handling specimens, and ensuring accurate patient data entry while delivering excellent patient service.

You will work in a patient service center or client office, with opportunities for growth and cross-site travel. The schedule is Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm, with comprehensive benefits and incentive plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
