Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Libertyville, IL. The position supports patient service centers or client offices, performs skilled specimen collection, and serves as the face of Labcorp with patients and clients.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, data entry, billing support, and travel to other sites as needed. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training; one year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of training program required.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
