Job summary

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. A Phlebotomist is needed to join our team in Chicago, with schedule Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm and rotating shifts.

You will perform skilled blood collections, data entry, specimen preparation and travel to additional sites when required. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, accurate documentation, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
