Job summary

Labcorp in Charlotte, NC seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team as a front-line service provider in our patient service centers or client offices. You will perform skilled specimen collections, provide excellent customer service, and support data entry and specimen preparation while representing Labcorp to patients and clients.

The role offers a Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm schedule with rotating weekends, and opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
Process billing information and collect payments.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
