LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in New Orleans, LA. You will perform venipuncture and specimen collection for all ages, ensure accurate data entry, and deliver excellent patient service in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a phlebotomy certification or training; 1+ year experience preferred. Work schedule is typically Monday–Friday with daily hours, and some travel to client sites may be required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
