Labcorp in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-focused team. You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for multiple tests, and ensure accurate data entry and scheduling while delivering exceptional patient service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training. Travel to additional sites may be required, with opportunities for incentive-based rewards.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency acceptable in lieu of experience.

Aufgaben

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• May participate in PST Incentive Plan based on performance metrics.
