Job summary

LabCorp is seeking a phlebotomist to join our Bogalusa, LA team. The role involves venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all ages, specimen handling, data entry, and delivering excellent patient service.

The position supports a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00am–5:00pm) with a rotating Saturday once a month and requires COVID-19 vaccination proof or approved accommodations. Growth opportunities are available within LabCorp’s expansive network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system and assist with billing as needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate logs.
• Provide courteous, patient-focused service and travel to additional sites when required.
