LabCorp is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team in West Monroe, LA. This role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, specimen handling, data entry, and delivering excellent patient service. Schedule is Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm with 1-hour lunch and Friday 8:00am-12:00pm, with travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Aufgaben

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
