Labcorp in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture collections and specimen handling with a strong emphasis on patient service. The role requires accurate data entry, teamwork, and flexible scheduling including rotating Saturdays.

Training or certification in phlebotomy is expected, with opportunities for growth within Labcorp. The position offers a Monday-Thursday day pattern with occasional overtime and travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
