Job summary

Centers Laboratory of New Jersey in Morristown, NJ is actively seeking Phlebotomists to work weekdays, 8 AM - 7 PM, at our Morristown laboratory. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience and excellent interpersonal skills.

You will draw blood, label specimens, and ensure safety and accuracy while following procedures. Reports to the Phlebotomy Supervisor and may work at multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy Technician certificate preferred or completion of hospital/lab training program if no certificate.
• 2 years proven experience as a phlebotomist.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and prepare them for blood draws.
• Assemble supplies and equipment for specimen collection.
• Draw blood using proper equipment and techniques.
• Label tubes and ensure correct test orders and destinations.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and patient confidentiality.
• Record keeping and documentation for specimens.
