Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Vernon, NJ team. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture, specimen handling, data entry, and ensuring high-quality patient service in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00am–12:00pm with rotating Saturdays 7:00am–11:00am. Pay range listed; PST incentive plan may apply. Equal opportunity employer with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months+ experience as a phlebotomist.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
