Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center in Minnesota. You will perform skilled specimen collections and deliver exceptional customer service while representing Labcorp in the community.

This role involves a variable schedule with potential travel to additional sites and opportunities for growth within the organization. A phlebotomy certification and HS diploma are required or equivalent training/experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months phlebotomy experience required.
• Preferred: 1 year or more phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
