Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. You will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. Opportunities for growth within the organization are available.

Schedule is Monday-Friday, AS NEEDED with a variable schedule (not to exceed 19 hours per week). Travel to additional sites may be required, and phlebotomy certification or training is required or 3 months experience acceptable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
