Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center team. You will perform skilled specimen collections, provide exceptional customer service, and be the face of Labcorp while supporting continuous growth within the organization.

Responsibilities include venipuncture and capillary collections, data entry, billing support, and travel to additional sites as needed. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or training; 1 year of experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Carry out administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
• Other duties as assigned.
