Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center. You will perform blood collections, provide exceptional customer service, and be the face of Labcorp to patients.

In this role you will collect specimens for tests, enter patient data accurately, process payments when required, and travel to additional sites as needed. A phlebotomy certification or training is preferred, high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other Duties as assigned.
