Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join a Patient Service Center. You will perform skilled specimen collections and provide exceptional customer service, acting as the face of the company. Opportunities for growth are available within the organization.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training. Schedule includes Monday–Saturday, AS NEEDED with a 19-hour maximum per week, and occasional travel to other sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other Duties as assigned.
