Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center in Grapevine, TX. The role involves skilled blood collection, accurate data entry, and delivering excellent patient service in a fast-paced environment.

You will work Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with rotating Saturdays, and may travel to additional sites as needed. A high school diploma is required, with 2+ years phlebotomy experience preferred and opportunities for growth within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training accepted in lieu of experience.
• Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a color vision test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs for patient and specimen information.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
