Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Winnsboro, TX (75494). The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, along with handling specimens for various tests and ensuring accurate data entry and patient records.

Responsibilities include processing billing information, preparing specimens for testing, maintaining logs, and delivering exceptional patient service. Travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred phlebotomy experience in a clinical/hospital setting.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
