Job summary

Labcorp in Arlington, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient service center. You will perform venipuncture and specimen collection with accuracy, while delivering excellent customer service to diverse patient groups.

The role requires 1+ year phlebotomy experience (clinical/hospital preferred) and a current phlebotomy certification or accredited training. Flexibility for overtime and occasional travel to other sites is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year phlebotomy experience in a clinical/hospital setting preferred.
• Current or prior LabCorp experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency required in lieu of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
