Job summary

Labcorp in Garland, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:30pm with additional hours or rotating Saturdays as needed.

You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, collect specimens for various tests, and enter patient data. Responsibilities include processing billing as needed, preparing specimens for testing, maintaining logs, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience assisting diverse patient groups preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens and other tests.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
