Labcorp in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, collect specimens for tests, enter patient data accurately, and maintain logs while delivering exceptional patient service.

Minimum: high school diploma; preferred 2+ years phlebotomy experience in clinical settings, plus color-blind test passability, and the ability to travel to additional sites as needed. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years phlebotomy experience in clinical/hospital environment.
• 1+ years assisting all patient groups (pediatric - geriatric).
• Current or prior LabCorp experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency.

Aufgaben

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
