Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks an Experienced Phlebotomist for a part-time role in our Pittsburgh center. You will perform phlebotomy and donor screening, ensuring high-quality plasma collection while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays work availability.
• Bend, lean, stoop, crouch and reach above shoulders.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and program plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
• Record donor metrics (pulse, BP, temperature) and enter data into the DIS.
• Coordinate donors to the floor and compensate donors via Debit Card system.
• Support center operations for continuous improvement using approved procedures.
