Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Pittsburgh, PA is hiring a part-time Phlebotomist. The role offers 4–6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week, with paid training to support plasma center operations.

You will greet donors, perform venipuncture and plasmapheresis machine programming, monitor donors, and handle setup and troubleshooting of equipment. Evening/weekend availability and light lifting are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors on entry/exit to the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
• Record donor vitals and enter information into the DIS.
