Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Pittsburgh is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to join our team. Most shifts are 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, offering flexible scheduling and paid training.

You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, monitor during donation, operate plasmapheresis equipment, and ensure safety and quality, reporting to the Plasma Center Manager. This role requires a high school diploma, ability to stand for extended periods, evening/weekend availability, and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand/walk for entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter/exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
