Job summary

BioLife is hiring a part-time Phlebotomist in Pittsburgh. You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, and operate plasmapheresis equipment under supervision. The role emphasizes donor safety, accurate data entry, and maintaining calm donor flow in a fast-paced plasma center.

The position offers evening and weekend shifts, with paid interactive training and a comprehensive benefits program upon hire. Starting wage is $17.00 per hour, with local wage assurances included.

Qualifications

• One year or more in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.
• Ability to stand/walk entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and manage donor floor flow.
• Perform venipuncture and operate plasmapheresis equipment under training.
• Monitor donors for reactions and document vital signs and questionnaires.
• Assist with setup, testing, and troubleshooting of plasmapheresis machines.
• Support center operations and identify opportunities for process improvements.
