Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification (state-specific) is required.
• Minimum 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen labeling.
• Centrifuge samples and record maintenance data.
• Ensure proper specimen storage and transport according to protocols.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly to patients and obtain consent.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in trainings.
