True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in San Antonio, TX.

The role involves performing blood draws, labeling specimens, and ensuring proper handling and transport of samples on a 8:00am–5:00pm schedule, Monday through Friday, with a projected duration of 3 months and potential for permanent hire. Candidates should have 1–2 years of oncology diagnostic phlebotomy experience and a state phlebotomy certification.

Qualifications

• Valid state phlebotomy certification required.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge and prepare specimens for testing; document results.
• Maintain patient information and comply with OSHA regulations.
• Attend annual department trainings and ensure specimen transport integrity.
