Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in San Antonio, TX, with potential for permanent placement. The role requires oncology diagnostic phlebotomy experience and a Monday–Friday schedule.

You will perform blood draws, label and process specimens, and ensure compliance with OSHA/DEP regulations. Strong accuracy and patient communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of oncology diagnostic phlebotomy experience required.
• Experience performing venipunctures in fast-paced labs or hospital settings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and properly label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly to patients.
• Package and transport specimens per protocol and temperature requirements.
• Ensure OSHA/DEP regulatory compliance and attend trainings.
