Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Mt. Holly team in New Jersey. Schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 5:45 am-11:30 am, Wednesday 5:45 am-1:30 pm, with duties including specimen collection and patient service.

You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, ensure accurate data entry, and support billing and logistics while traveling to additional sites as needed. A phlebotomy certification or equivalent training is required or 3+ months of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
