Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Mt. Holly, NJ. The role involves blood collection, patient service, and possible travel to additional sites. Schedule includes early morning shifts Monday through Friday, with some weekend or overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months+ experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• In lieu of work experience, certification/training must come from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
