Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to join our Lawrenceville, NJ team. Work schedule is Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm with rotating Saturdays. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages and handle specimen processing with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus phlebotomy certification or training; 6 months of phlebotomy experience is preferred. Travel to additional sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; Phlebotomy certification or training, or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• 6 months or more phlebotomy experience preferred.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
