Job summary

Labcorp in New Brunswick, NJ is hiring a Phlebotomist to join our patient-focused team. You will perform blood collections, prepare specimens and ensure accurate data entry, while delivering compassionate care and superior service to patients.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy experience; position includes a daytime schedule with potential overtime and travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred 2 years or more phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
