Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens, process samples, and support patient services. The role requires strong phlebotomy skills, data entry accuracy, and the ability to work a Monday–Friday schedule with rotational weekends.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, three years of phlebotomy experience, and a valid driver’s license. Certification is preferred, with some states requiring credentialing.

Qualificações

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience, accurate and timely.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime as needed.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA.

Responsabilidades

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems, client contact, and approved tools.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain ID and bill appropriately according to policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, and email.
