Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is hiring a Phlebotomist II in Carrollton, TX. The role includes specimen collection, data entry, and handling courier-ready samples in a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating weekends.

Requirements include three years of phlebotomy experience and a HS diploma; phlebotomy certification is preferred (required in CA/NV/WA). Excellent English communication and reliable transportation are needed.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license if applicable.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV and WA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures including drug screens and biometric tests.
• Administer oral solutions as trained and documented.
• Navigate lab technology systems to verify orders and client information.
• Enter data accurately and handle billing information per policy.
• Prepare specimens for transport, label, centrifuge and aliquot as needed.
• Maintain non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing and phones.
